The opening concert of the new Season will be entrusted to the baton of Iván Fischer, who will take the podium of the Orchestra and Chorus of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia to conduct Respighi’s Pines of Rome, Fountains of Rome, and Roman Festivals, along with two choral pieces by Liszt, O Roma Nobilis and Dall’Alma Roma.

An evening dedicated to Rome, where the performance of Respighi’s Roman Trilogy will be accompanied by a visual journey – a absolute preview – conceived by Yuri Ancarani for this occasion and inspired by Respighi’s music.

Ancarani, an artist and director from Ravenna, after recently portraying Venice with the film Atlantis (competing at the 2022 Venice Film Festival and nominated for the David di Donatello), will turn his gaze to the Capital for the first time, offering an unprecedented, mysterious, and hypnotic vision, far from postcard stereotypes.

The event is part of the Bridging Europe Festival.
