A French atmosphere pervades the concert featuring the Santa Cecilia Chorus, conducted by Andrea Secchi, performing the famous Requiem by Gabriel Fauré in a “chamber” version closer to the composer’s original idea. The softness of Fauré’s music is echoed in Nuages, a premiere by Roman composer Matteo D’Amico, written specifically for our choir and inspired by late 19th-century French poetry.
