An optimal acoustics

The orchestra and chorus rehearsal rooms accommodate both groups in commodious spaces designed for optimal acoustics; the rooms are also equipped for audio and video recording. Since they are accessible to wheelchairs, they can be transformed as needed into concert halls for public performances when the audience anticipated does not justify use of one of the three principal halls. For example, the rehearsal rooms are where the final concerts for specialization courses in music are presented. The chorus rehearsal rooms are also used on special occasions for conferences and seminars, such as the one presented in honour of Goffredo Petrassi, “Petrassi – l’arte, il tempo, le idee” (Petrassi – his art, his times, his ideas).
