A world premiere, Il tutto in tutti by Fabio Vacchi — a new commission by the Accademia di Santa Cecilia — opens the final concert of the season under Daniel Harding.
The program continues with a trilogy by Richard Strauss, leading us to the heart of drama: first, the struggle of a soul freeing itself from the body in Death and Transfiguration; then the deadly sensuality of the Dance of the Seven Veils and the Final Scene of Salome, where ecstasy and horror merge into one.
The evening’s vocal star is soprano Corinne Winters.
